I'm sure this has been covered over and over again but I'm stuck debating between doing a M30B35 with a turbo or try and find myself a nice 95' 96' M3 Engine?

Obviously a majority is going to suggest the S50-S52 but I know of E90 335i's that have a inline 6 twin turbo chipped and they can take E90 M3's so I'm curious if the weight from the V8 m3 motor is worth it.

I do not plan on keeping my A/C or my existing wiring harness really, I plan on a simple interior more of a street legal track car. What kind of HP difference would there be between the M30 with a big turbo or a M3 engine?

M30. cheaper to turbo, more available than an S5x motor anyways. Or turbo a M5x motor. That way when you blow it up it's not automatically $4k down the drain.

You can make more power per $ with an m30 IMO, and repairs will be easier/cheaper

Your entire post has to be a joke.:loco:

S50 (modded m50) is slow, expensive, and slow.
