Can someone tell me what this little plastic part is for? I'm thinking it supports the cooling hoses coming off the thermostat housing?

Realoem doesn't even show the stud coming off the lower timing cover, let alone the plastic part. I'd like to get a new one since the one I have looks like it's broken. Any ideas?

That looks like the remains of the bracket for the bottom radiator hose - that's less than half of it :) P/N 11531717091

I wouldn't worry to much about that thing, the hose supports itself pretty well, I ended up removing the stud from the timing case so it wouldn't rub against it.

I thought about that, but it's only $3 at the dealer.
