    finally have time and want to do an m30 swap... help someone!

    alright so i have a little time and money on my hands finally and i want to remove my m42 and find a m30b35... i have been on craigslist. looking in every city in every state within a few states and cant find one.. i have been on the e34 and e28 forums as well and not having much luck..... can anyone help me find a new heart for my baby!

    They are pretty easy to find in junkyards. Just do a compression test and make sure it is in good health. My local junkyard had at least 3 M30B35s last time I was there. There was even an E34 535i 5 speed.

      i know a guy with an entire e28 parts car. He says it has a good engine and 5speed. I know another guy who had an m90 if you are interested it that too.

        Yeah I will do some digging around in junk yards.. I have really only looked at pull apart.. any other suggestions? And your car is fuckin gorgeous man.. its been the background on my computer for a few months lol (no homo)

            Haha thank you. There is a place by me call U-Wrench-It that has a little higher prices but way nicer cars. That is where I saw multiple B35s. The B35 out of the E34/E32/later E24s is what you want for sure. With the pull-a-part near me, new cars only last a day before they are trashed.
