Can i cut the top of the piston to make a flat top piston? Thanks

You can ground it down some, what are you trying to do?

i would like to put pistons from m30b34 to m10b20 block with 1.8i head, but to buy custom or je pistons is a little expensive for me.

ah ok, FYI the M30B33 block has flat top pistons, I happen to have a set for sale if your interested.

oh ya I forget they are the smaller bore, so they wouldn't fit the m10.

I've heard you can run 92mm VW bug pistons, if your looking to go to 92mm.
