    M30 Suspension

I have spent the past couple of days attempting to put this topic to rest but have come up with little to no results.

So what is everyone running for Springs and Shocks?
    How is your handling?
Would you switch to lower/higher spring rates from your current setup?

The main thing is how far back you have the motor. The motor doesn't add that much to the front. Suspension choices are as individual as the owners themselves. FWIW my m30 vert has the motor in position 2 or 3 and I'm using m3 springs, KYB struts, IE fixed camber plates, IE 22/19 adjustable sways, all new bushings, m3 CABs, Mason x brace. This is a pretty good setup for me but for you it depends on your goals. My car retains a good bit of ground clearance and suspension travel and compliance which I like because our roads suck and it is street driven and not a track car.

I got Garagistic mounts which are like 2.5 or so. I was thinking H&R Sports or Vogtland Springs(225/350) with Billy Sports, ST Sways, OEM Rubber Bushings, M3 CABs and the Mason X Brace. I'm putting on 16x7 with 225/45zr16s. I am in no way going to track this, I will be using it for daily driving and some cross country traveling. I really don't have a need for coilovers.

Garagistic are position 3 and involving massaging the firewall, that's why I purchased them..I'm using ground control with bilsteins, just for fun I have full weld of reinforcements from garagistic.

I'll find out my spring rates soon.

I have eibachs & bilstein sports - handling is fine.

Reality is, you're only adding 25kg to the front end. If you remove your air-con then that drops to closer to 10kg. No special springs required really - normal 6 cylinder e30 stuff will work.

I had the H&R/Billy combo on my 'vert and found the ride to be too harsh when combined with big sways. Since then I've gone to stock sways with upgraded bushings/links and GC coils; it rides, drives and handles far better. Plus you have the option of corner-balancing.

Ground control ftw, should have my e30 rolling on the chassis today. Should be good times.
