late model 325i harness on m30b34

    late model 325i harness on m30b34

    trying to put this harness on my motor I laid it over the top like everyone says to do. Now when I go to change out the injector plugs It ooks like i'm missing 4 plus and my ecu plugs is a three row plug instead of a 2 row plugs so now im really like wtf cause what do i do for a ecu now??? also do i not have a late model harness is there one way to identify them? really need to know so i can drop the f'ing motor in that was supposed to be in 2 weeks ago.

    K I've found I do indeed have a late harness still can't find other injector plugs may tap my own in from my old harness (no fucks given the harness is already trashed obviously) and if that doesn't work just find the correct m30 harness and quite ghetto rigging shit. Also told I need all this shit which pisses me of more.

    Sound like you're getting it sorted yourself - so all good.

    "All this shit" is why most of us start with an M30B35 over the B34. Most of the sensors etc. on the B35 plug straight in to the late M20 loom.

    Good luck! Once it's running, you'll love the torque & all evils will be forgiven.

        I wish I had a b35 but this motor was local so I just bought it. I'll just put the harness on and make them work.

          I'm sure it'll be fine. There's plenty of info on mye28 about the motronic 1.3 swap on the B34.

          + the B34 is meant to be a better candidate for a turbo later on :)

            Yup gonna use that and the swap guide. frank said i can use that swap kit I'm gonna try and make mine work and keep that as a last resort

                Haha yea I did. Sadly though junk yards here don't have shit for e34's or e32 idk if I need that list though cause my Ecu says it's motor nic an I think it's a 1.3 and that's the Ecu I have before I bought the 179 Ecu
