Just bought my M30B35, it begins!

Hey guys! Excited to say, i bought an M30B35 E30 conversion kit for 1.5 (A good price here in nz where things are much more limited). It came with a radiator, 4 speed e24 gearbox, custom mounts, exhaust pipes etc. Super excited. So if you guys have any advice before putting it in it would help. Also, where can i buy a silicone hose kit for the M30? What do i need to look out for? Also, is it chain or belt driven? Thanks!

Well I do know that the cam is chain driven. And 1.5 sounds like a fine deal. I'm starting my own m30 voyage soon. Good luck.

Good luck to you as well. I figured it was a good deal. Makes it a hell of a lot easier for me too if all the parts are there. Except now I need to buy bilsteins for my car before I even think about putting this in... sigh

Not bad. Just buy franks swap guide and read it front to back. Was this already in a e30?

Yes this was running in an e30. I even got to drive it. Only noticeable issue was a scratching sound when clutch was fully depressed. Was told it was clutch fork and given another one. But not sure if I should replace to whole clutch as well
