    C101 diagrams

I know there have been other posts about this, but not to this specific car. I need it for an '88 325 and a '89 735i..... I tried to start it today and the fuel pump wasn't working at all.

I just need to trace the wires back and see if they match.... anybody know of the website where this is available? I checked on a search and found the c101 port for a 1986- model bmw 325i, but i dont know if it's the same for the 325 (super eta)... and i need it for the 735i too.

    Thanx alot guys.

I just installed a switch in the dash to turn the fuel pump off/on. I had the same problem but mine was a '90 535i into a '90 325. Sorry I dont have any diagrams. There was a great site I had a bookmard to earlir that had diagrams of pretty much anything electrical. Hopefully someone reads this and it sparks thier memory. Its a russian site but they have full diagrams for everything. I wish I had that bookmark

Just take the relay out and hook up a switch between the two large wires that go into the relay(30 and 87) I believe. If you have a large enough rated switch (30amps). Otherwise just leave the relay in place and run a wire to ground from 86 I think. Then rather than the computer grounding and closing the relay you can close a switch that completes the ground. Oh yeah run the switch so that it is in series with that ground wire you just ran. You can just run a wire from 86?? (maybe 85, whichever the computer is on) to a switch in the dash. Then connect the other end of the switch to the mearest ground. That is what I did. Then when you flip the switch you close the relay circuit and the fuel pump runs. You just have to remember to turn it off when you get out of the car.
