m30 swap with zf trans?

Im looking at doing a m30 swap. My main question is the driveshaft and oil pan. Here is the parts list.

M30b35 from 88 e24
Zf 5 speed from 95 e36 m3
Driveshaft from 95 e36 m3

Will this setup fit in an 88 e30? I know I need mounts and a wiring harness, etc.

Zf fits m20. M20 trans does not fit m30. I'm gonna guess that a zf won't fit an m30

Need a transmission from an M30,M10,S14,S38 engine, do a little google on m30 bellhousing.

e9,e21,e24,e28,e30,e34.

Look for transmissions from an e28/e34.. anything ending in "35I" 535i,635i,735il is a winner.

haha exactly, if you find one of those cars that has a transmission with a removable bellhousing, dont jump or scream just say you want the junk and walk off. hehe
