Smoke rolling off exhaust manifolds after startup?

Replaced the head gasket, let car run for a few seconds and smoke rolls off the exhaust manifolds. They become hot within seconds of starting. Help? M30B35

Most likely oil dropped on the manifolds and on start up you burned it off

Hmm even if I've done it twice, once again after it cooled down and it still smoked? I sure hope that that's it

I couldn't imagine there being an actual issue.. headers get hot, and as said, oil on mani or just various grime

Yea like said wouldn't think there's an issue. If you torqued your head down then the gasket shouldn't be leaking. If it still does it few days from now after multiple start ups and cool downs then maybe there is

If it's still smoking after 50 miles, triple check your work

Normal. Dont worry about it. It got some oil on it and will burn off. Regardless after a full warm test drive recheck for leaks.
