    Quesion on replacing cam seal

This weekend I need to replace my timing belt on the M20 and after all the reading I've been doing it is also recommended to replace the cam seal as well. Do I need to buy parts number 8 and 5 in this diagram here?

Can anyone type out a quick writeup on how to remove those parts without causing any major leaks. Is it as simple as unscrewing bolt six and popping the bracket out, replacing the seals and sliding it back in?

    Thanks

you need to have a big socket like 28mm or 29mm to get that #5 seal out. or use a screwdriver and give it a quick wack on the top of the handle, that worked for mine. be careful not to scratch the metal housing thing. lube the seal with oil, put # 8 on, lube it with oil, and rotate the thing back on the camshaft-snout, and tighten it up.

its sort of hard to get it off when you first try to get it off so rotate it a bit and give it a few small taps from something on the back side while you keep rotating it as it comes out.
