Stock Compression?

What is the stock compression for US-spec M20B25's?

Was the compression higher in the '87-'88 cars, and slightly lower in the '89+ cars? Or was this in Europe only?

Anyone know what compressions were available in European M20's?

I believe 8.5:1 on all US models.

All US M20B25s are 8.8:1. I think some european versions were 9.7:1.
