dont find many s52's up here in the great white north.
If you can find them go for it i suppose.
I chose an m30 for my swap.
It is true though - apples vs. oranges.
M30 or S52?

I would say the real answer depends on what you want out of the car. Both swaps have their pros and cons, and those lists will be different for different people.
I have an m30 swapped car. I love the fact that it is a period correct engine, running the original m20 engine harness, utilizing mostly used, easily accessible parts, and can be completed for under $1000 if you are thrifty.
Would an s52 blow the doors off of my car? Absolutely, but I am fine with that trade off.Leave a comment:

s52... more modern, lots of parts, reliable, and and more power. can't go wrong with that.Leave a comment:

Sometimes I find it easier to search r3v when I enter my question via Google and put r3v at the end. "M30 vs s52 r3v"Leave a comment:

What makes you say that? And yes i'm considering it in the future, not anytime soon though. Hopefully within the next 2-3 years.
Do you know how to use the Search feature? The pros/cons of each engine swap have been debated ad naseum. Do some searching, do some reading. Then if you have a specific question, go ahead and ask it. But this kind of basic, general information has been beaten to death over and over.Leave a comment:
