M30 transmission question

So I have a project that im currently collecting parts for when my transmission gives up on life. And im wanting to know if any of the newer BMW transmissions will mate to the M30?

Im sure its a no but i am not seeing any information on it so im sure if i want a different transmission that what the M30 was originally intended for ill have to have a adapter plate made.

Believe me i know exactly what youre thinking. Why dont you just use the transmission out of a damn 535i er something you dip.

Well my car isnt that simple. I am going to shove a M30 in my ix. Why because racecar and i want to wast a bunch of money HAHA. My dream car is a iX which i have now my favorite BMW engine that BMW has ever made is the Big six. So i will eventually have the Big six in the car.

Seriously though I have it all figured out, Oil pan and drive line positioning and such. Just thought id ask about this before just having an adapter plate made.

What im looking at right now is a 2004 330Xi drive line for the 6 speed. Please let me know guys.

I don't think they do, you'll probably need an adapter plate.

Yeah I was thinking the adapter plate would have to be made. Well thought I'd ask. I know a really good machinist who can help me with that.
