He is, but he's pretty dang busy. If you just email with a bunch of questions and an "interest to buy" you probably wont get a response. He makes a great ecu but just plan on doing the homework.

Thanks for considering TCD parts. The e28 kit is a direct bolt on for the m30 e30. You will need to modify the passenger side motor mount. We also sell whatever combination of parts/pieces you desire. One other thing to consider is that all of our hardware is made in the USA. We support small foundries, fabrication houses and machine shops. Call/Text me anytime with questions. 414-265-6004

        Thanks,
        Todd

Personally I would grab a holset hx35, good'n'tight manifold, mishimoto Intercooler, WhoDwho megasquirt and then your waste gate and bov. I've spent a fair amount of time pricing this stuff out and it can be done for under 2500 easily especially if you play your card right and pick up good used items like the manifold for example good used ones are around 400-450 compared to the 600 new. There is a guy that is selling two hx35 for 500 a pop brand new. They are internally waste gated but you can just weld it shut and run an external. Kits IMO are a waste of money piecing together can be done for 1000-1500 less then the kits that are out there.
bumping this up as the wheels are in motion.

I think this is the way I'll be going.
bunch of HX35's for sale in town for good prices.
no shaft play, all externally gated however.

We do have a good tuner in town who may be able to keep my oem ECU in check, and not need the cost of megasquirt.
Keeping an eye out for GnT manifolds too (used)
WG and bov's can be done new, along with essentials like FPR's and widebands etc.

ideally would like to keep this under the $4K mark after all is said and done.

My M30 is not even in yet and I am reading this like it's my next step.

I look forward to your progress and reporting on it.

With this and Corvallis, it will really be a treasure trove of E30M30 Turbo.

Good deal. Probably the best option. Does your b35 have a cam? Hx35 will start building boost around 3k and at 3500 your getting hit by a freight train of boost. Even a 284 will help you start building boost around 2500 and get full boost around 3k. I will be going with a similar setup for my turbo m20. Dont know what I'm doing for m30 yet.
