What suspension are you guys running ? I plan on doing this swap soon . I'm currently on eibach Springs, is that good enough or should I upgrade to coils first

That will be fine. All the talk about the m30 weight doesn't even effert ride height (ok maybe 1/8") - in fact, I'm running e90 drop hats on my e30m30 cause the front was too high.

I'm running Eibachs with Bilstein Sports - no complaints from me.

If anything the slight increase in weight made the car handle better. The ride was a little jiggly in certain situations with the M20 in there, with the M30 that's gone.
