I pretty much have what you want to run in my car & it has been a reliable daily drive for over 4 years now.
You can run the Getrag 240 (M10) box no problem with a late e30 320i tail shaft if you don't want to shorten the 318i shaft. Just make sure you either get an uprated 318i clutch and pressure plate, or a RHD Engineering flywheel that lets you bolt up an M20 (or S14) clutch can pressure plate as the stock 318i clutch won't stand up to the punishment.
Everyone will tell you the gearbox won't last, but if it's good to start with and you don't drive like a mad man it will be fine. As stated above, mine is more than 4 years behind the M30 and showing no ill effects.
If you want to check out my thread, it's linked in my signature.

You'll need to custom fabricate engine mounting brackets or as said above, pony up to get some from garagistic. The motor mount pads will be from your 325 donor, or buy some stock replacements for said car.
I'm assuming you're RHD, so from what I know, RHD swaps need the throttle cable from the E34 donor.
Folks will reccomend Frank M's swap guide. I bought it, it was alright. A little too wordy and it didn't tell me anything more than I learned through a couple weeks' research
This is a pretty solid guide to get started, however some things have changed since it was written: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/i...ine_Swap_-_M30
For wiring it should be a plug and play affair in a late model E30. You will want to use the instruments from the 325 or at least transfer the coding plug so the tach works right. Spend some time learning to read the factory wiring diagrams just in case. See here for PDF versions: http://wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm
Untwist your panties.
Much appreciated.

You didn't search for it because you couldn't be bothered putting in the time to do proper research.. Google it you peanut, look at various forums and what everyone else is using/done.. Then come up with a list of what you need to do.. That is where you can ask questions.. "I read it says to do this, but another guy says to do this could I get confirmation. That tells everyone you bothered to do your research and at least tried.
the clutch and slave is simple. Its the same master and slave used in all E30's, E28s and others. If you bothered to do some research on google to see what engines they suit you would of seen if it suited
3rd link google search.. spoiler alert. Like the slave cyl they are all the same regardless if its an E30, E28, 4 cylinder shitbox or 3 litre orange juice.
I get you may not find every answer you want on google but fuck me at least try instead of relying on everyone else to do the legwork for you.
People get tired of people signing up to forums just to ask a question, people answer that question and they generally fuck off elsewhere because they got what they came for.
As keyland said.

Diff? medium case as a minimum, depends on gearbox for the ratio. For the 240 you have 3.73
Brake booster? standard e30
Brake fluid reservoir? standard e30
Transmission crossmember? use the one that you have with the 240
Pedal box? long bolt & manual pedal(auto & manual box is the same)
Slave cylinder? use the getrag 240
Master cylinder? 325i
Associated clutch lines? factory clutch lines, or customer make braided ones to suit(I did this)
Suggested pressure plate, clutch plate and flywheel for M10 (g240 trans)? unsure on this one sorry
Shifter and linkages? can use the sheet metal mount for the 240, or modify to suit the s2 shifter
Engine mounts? gargastic, push the engine as far back as possible
Radiator? e28 535i mounts to the e30 chassis
Radiator hoses? e34 535i
ECU? Unsure of the number on mine, use a manual e34 535i one where possible
Anything else I may have missed? probably, but its hard to pin point everything at the start. Get a case or 3 of good Beer none of that XXXX nonsense & enjoy the swap

sounds like you are going to struggle hard at this project if you have to ask what to do with your clutch slave and master.
I didn't "search for it" walnut, because I don't even know my way around this site yet, but I'm learning.
Haha, you have no idea of my experience so what gives you the right to make judgement.
I simply asked about the clutch slave and master in case it was suggested to use the e34 ones because they may have been bigger, I don't know. By the way, I did not ask "what to do with" my clutch slave and master as you state. I simply asked off which model could/should I use.
Cheers for your help.

from the transmission back, you can technically reuse all the parts you have from your m10 car. its probably not really recommended though. the getrag 240 isn't designed for m30 torque. if you intend to launch your car somewhat often, that tranny won't last you very long.

Not really the right section for this one buddy. I don't have anything to contribute besides that.
