Hey now, the E36 is probably the first BMW that can actually be made to handle at all. All the trailing arm bullshit is finally
beaten down to the point where the rear sticks well. Yes, they are...

The harness connections happen in the ECU bin with the DME and the DME fuse block- with 5 fuses.
Very few wires from engine and chassis cross- connect, (power, mostly)

So inside the spark plug, there's a resistor between the cap and the tip. On what you had before, it was 5k ohms, but on the new ones, it's 1k.
The boots themselves also have resistors in...

I'd be looking at live data while it's doing it, to see if there are any telltales there-
things as basic as short and long term fuel trim behavior, that sort of thing. Also inputs from...

Find a spotface milling bit, get it with the right sized pilot to run in the existing threads, and reface the sealing surface.

Imma guess you need the single mass M20 G260 parts. Reason being the single mass stack- up's shorter
than the dual mass, and the M42 (from whence your gearbox) is the same as the M20 for the trans...

I don't mean to get your hopes up too much, but you don't have the usual headgasket symptoms.
Sure the heater core's ok?

Have you confirmed that you can jump 12v to the solenoid terminal and get it to crank when hot?
Then you just needa meter, and some diagrams:

Oh. Ugh. Me, I'd grimace (remember him?) and buy Pierburg, because I KNOW Walker doesn't make oxygen sensors...
In theory, the post- cat's only used to monitor the cat itself, so it shouldn't...
