e30 M43 swap

I have a e30 316i (M40B16) 1989 with getrag 240. I want to swap the engine to a M43 (M43B19). This m43 engine have a automatic transmission.

Will my getrag 240 gear box , Flywheel and clutch pack fit to the m43 engine ?

The M43 certainly is not an upgrade over an M40, even 1.6 to 1.6. But I believe they do share the same blocks, so they should be an easy swap, and your G240 should bolt up.

Hi did you finish your swap or anybody has swaped his e30 to a M43b19 i would have a fuw questions
