which engine should i swap???????

2 possible engines, 95 318 with 200,000 with everything or 1.8l M42 BMW motor from a 1992 E36 318is with 90,000 km to put in an 1984 bmw 318i. which would be better or easier or even work, i want power , and performance. let me hear it guys and if neither, what is the best swap for me?

I'd do a 6 cylinder. M20, M50/S50, or maybe even a big six M30.

definately i'd stick with a 6 cylinder, m20 if your wantin a quick easy swap. Otherwise definately m30 for the fun of driving it
