    need assistance..

I have a 85 E30 E platform. We have tried new AFM, ECU, reference sensors, temp. sending unit, temp sensor, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, new spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor button, wiring harness, charged battery, new main relay, checked all fuses and checked compression. The car has zero power BUT will idel fine. The exhause manifolds get hot quick. Red hot!
    The compression is
    1. 160
    2.155
    3.90checked again 120
    4.170
    5.155
    6.170

Anyone out there have any more ideas on what to check? Flywheel?
    Thanks:curse: PS. no cat

Have you checked the spark timing? It isn't adjustable, but if off it would indicate a problem with the timing reference sensors or DME.

Have you checked the cam timing?

The compression results point to a probem with #3. It should not be that low in comparison to the others.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
