ok guys, need some help on a little turbo project

im new to the site, so far there is a rediculous amount of information.

a little about me, my name is john and im 21 years old. i work in flemington nj and have ben into cars for as long as i can remember. i have a 93 honda prelude with a jdm h22a, stage 2 clutch with an 8 pound flywheel, short ram intake, header back exhaust, and some other small goodies. i also have an 05 STI that is prety much stock (for now).

heres the deal, a good buddy of mine has an 87 325e. we just picked up an 89 325i which we are almost done ripping the motor out of to put in the 87. from there, we will be adding a turbo. this is where i need help from all of you. im a mechanic so i can do anything at my own shop. we need to know what to do here. ive never tried to mod a bimmer before so i need some input as to where to go with this. hell be picking up a turbo manifold from ebay for cheap, t3/t4 internal wastegate turbo, and fmic and piping. where do we go from here. what kind of injectors do we need to have, how much boost can the stock block handle, do we need to upgrade the cam, what kind (if any at all) of em do we need, etc? im completely lost here. like i said, i kow what im doing when it comes to cars, so you can be technical with me but i have no idea about these bimmers when it comes to turbo charging lol. then all the other goodies like intake, exhaust, bov i can handle. thats the easy part. thanks in advance for any help any of you can give me.

Go to e30tech.com . They are the smart e30 turbo guys. They've got a whole FI section. Bimmerforums has a good FI section, but they're mostly e36 guys.

honestly if you can't turbo a m20 then you can't boost anything. People here and on e3t have done pretty much any turbo, manifold, EM, etc combos that you can imagine. search around a bit...
