    Small update

Got the driveshaft back from the shop today... 1 3/16" shorter front half (fron a 6 series with Getrag 265), stock 325e rear half. Fits PERFECT. In retrospect, if I had gone with a Getrag 260/5 I probably wouldn't have had to shorten the shaft at all, but thats just a guess... Plus the 260/5 is wimpy in comparrison to the 265 so I don't feel too bad about paying $200 to have mine shortened... It would have been a solid $100 but the shaft was so old he had to modify it quite a bit and replace the entire tube in between the two ends.

Exhaust from rs4pro3 should get here sometime next week, it's from his old 335i I guess and should be a very easy match with my E28 B34 downpipes.

I'm almost there, it's taken since October (with no job btw) but I'm damn close. Maybe I'll get a video or two soon.

    In the near future (hopefully):
Bilsteins and H&Rs, unless something else that is a lot cooler comes along for a similar price
    Rota Slipstreams with Falken RT-615s
Uh... some other shit like braided brake lines (already have a braided clutch line from the 6), good pads, some old Corbeau fixed seat to replace my beatuiful pacific blue ripped fabric sport seat, and definitely other stuff. My plan is to try to get the car sorted well enough to be a daily driver by the middle of summer so that I can take it to the desert and have some fun.

        Another update:

The car is basically sold, to a guy on the forum. He should have it within a few weeks.

The car replacing my 335i: A 1983 Euro 635CSi in good shape! Back into a shark where I belong

It is running now, that's why the seller wanted it I think.

The driveshaft was installed last week, and this week the exhaust should be here. The lucky guy who is buying my project is getting a running and driving car that needs suspension basically!
