    Which Intake is better

I did search just about the entire m30 swap section and couldn't find anything. I have a gen II m30 motor (e23 735i) for my swap I was wondering if the intake manifold from a gen III (e32/e34) would offer a lil more power or better flow than the intake thats on my motor already?

There shouldn't be any major differences that I know of... They may have larger openings at the head on the B35 manifolds, and since they all fit each other, you might as well go B35.

I think it looks better without the 2 large brackets holding it on up top.

I know the later M30's have 1mm bigger valves, but I'm not sure if the intake manifold is bigger or not.

I'd stick to the original manifold because the port shapes are different, E28 gen M30 the ports are an oval shape and the E34 gen M30 are kidney shaped.
