    What trans is this?

I am going to buy this off of DJ, just checking to see what trans it is. Has a sheet metal console as well.

    Edit: Look two posts down.

    Thanks.

Here we go. I think it is the G260. This will be good with my eta drive shaft?

Could someone tell me if this clutch setup will work on the above tranny w/ the original flywheel? Unless Joe answers my PM:grin:

That clutch should work just fine, though a standard Sachs clutch is cheap and will hold up just fine too.

$210 cheap? How can I tell if the clutch is worn? If I dont' need to replace, I won't, I just have a felling that it has been on the damn thing for all 180+K miles.

I'll get pics of mine and post tomorrow and see what you guys think.

I wouldn't sweat a clutch really, they tend to last a really really ridiculously long time. My dad's original clutch has over 225,000 miles on it and is still working well! I had one on a 193,000 mile M30 that worked great too. We might be able to help a little with pictures, but I'd guess that it's probably ok for the time being unless this car is going to be your daily driver or something.

I actually would like to get it done and sell it to keep going with the convertible. I have a lot of things to do to the vert and the money from this would help..aka 5 lug, GC's, M-tech II or I

Well in that case, I'd say if the clutch works, use it and save some money!
