i am starting to gather parts for a m30 swap. i already have a m30b35 complete engine, 3.73 from a 89 325i, and a e30 m3 driveshaft. now will this (more or less) bolt up to my stock tranny or will i have to/is it better to put a different tranny?suggestions?

You're gonna need a different tranny. Since you have an e30 m3 driveshaft, i would go with a 260/6 from a E32, E34, and E28/E24 after 1985 or so... The ones before that have a removable bell housing making the tranny about 4 inches longer, and your driveshaft will be too long.'86 E30
