              Anyone want a 335i swap/chassis? Look at prices...mine is only $800 :nice:

I'm up for a meet. If I have this till summer and put it back together I will drive it off a pier. Lets meet at an ocean just to make it even that easier. One of you would have to drive me home though.

I have been trying to sell your car to euro lovers in my town-its such a good deal. If I needed another e30, I would buy it myself.
BTW, Wakefield is on the ocean;)

im getting started on doing the swap too... does the super eta driveshaft fit the m30 and 265 tranny? or do you still have to grind it down...

unfortunently i have a broken collar bone so work is postponed, but research isn't! haha

Maybe slight change of plans. I went to the junkyard today to put a deposit on an oil pan off an e32 and the guy said that I could have the whole engine for $300. The 3.5 is the engine that I was looking to get before I got the e28. My questions to you are:
Can I use the transmission from the e28?
Do I just get the computer from that car and will it (semi) plug into my harness?
The car has an auto, does that make the wiring any harder?
I know I have more questions, but that is all that come to mind at the moment. Thanks for any help.

Also, will the accessories from the b34 work with the b35?

Yes. They should work fine. There wasn't that much of a difference.

p.s. I'd be willing to put a meet together, but it would be closer to TN/NC/SC/VA.

Or everyone can really test out their m30 swaps with a trip to Canada

Are you talking about just the accessories or the accessories and the transmission?
Does anyone know the answers to these 2Q's?

Tranny from the e28 will work with the e34 not sure about wiring differences since I have almost no clue when it comes to automotive wiring.

And the dme will work with the m20 harness but you will have to lengthen some sections to work. If I remeber correctly it is a section for the injectors and another section but im not 100% sure.

definetly a good deal for the b35 since it is supposed to be more powerful than the b34. I am going to be running a b34 without a cat and that is supposed to almost make up the power difference between the two. or at least thats what im hoping
