    M30 swap...quick confirmation.

Hello all. I'm doing my background checks before dropping the coin on an e28 drivetrain for my 2 dr 1987e with 5 speed and would like confirmation that:
    1. I need the e34 oil pan and pick up
    2. Need mounts
    3. Need Rad
    4. Need engine and trans and ECU, use stock driveshaft IF the e28 trans is a 1 pc unit.
    5. Exhaust work

So, all I need is mounts, rad, and oil control stuff? I found the e28 setup locally (engine, trans, wiring, ecu) for CHEAP.

Thanks for your time, I REALLY appreciate it.

Looks like a start of a list....

K&N air filer or stock e34 m30 filter housing.
Coolant hoses (mix of m20 and m30)
Not sure what you are going to have to do for tranny mounts...

I used only M30 coolant hoses, and the stock E24 transmission crossmember and mounts. Also, the early M30 air box DOES fit, though it's tight... I definitely recommend the E32 / E34 M30 air box. Cold air intakes rarely work as intended.

I think a cheapy "CAI" is fine if you remember the important part is the heat shield.
