    Weird problem...

So I noticed at night that when i push my m30 past about 5500RPM's my headlights get noticeably dimmer, then come back to normal after the rpm's drop. It also seems to kinda loose it's breath too, but that could just be the stock cam talkin...

Any suggestions? Could be alternator, voltage regulator, belt?

My guess would be the voltage regulator. AutohausAZ sells them for around $30.

Before you just randomly throw parts at it, hook your DVM up to some long leads and go for a spin.

Well before you go throwing out assumptions, I'm going to take that and the alternator to autozone and have it tested ;)
