E30 M30 electrical issues

so new discoveries, i pulled out my volt meter and checked the battery at idle cold start was 13.8 as soon as it got warm in fluctuated from13.8 to 12.8 so maybe time for rebuild alternator with volt regulator, also i gotta swap icvs.

Was it FPR , O2 Sensor , Vaccum leaks, or Coolant temp sensor?

Funny I am having that exact same problem that started last week. It's such a pain to drive more than like 2 miles. I bought a new coolant temp sensor when i did the swap. Anyone have any idea's?

If i let it idle until it's warm, it starts to bog down until the whole car is shaking and the idle goes down to about 500. From there it will either stall if i give it gas or have full power for a few secs when i floor it.

It's basically like the gas pedal is an on/off button on a video game.

Any detail update ?

Check your tps is set properly and working

Finally, after making sure all wiring and sensors are correct, the culprit is the injector harness/socket number 6 was cracked. Of course couldn't see it at the beginning as those injectors plugs are buried in that long plastic box on the fuel rail.

Good to hear! that plastic cover makes it look good, but makes it difficult to confirm connections are good.

Very happy with the result and intentionally took a very long detour on the way home, just to enjoy it, feels so good :)
