m30 swap parts list HELP PLEASE!!

i came accross a deal for a 5 speed parts car i found locally that had been crashed in the front pretty badly. in talking to him i told him i was doing a m30b3.5 swap he suggested i go with something else insted of the car since the only thing i coiuld use was the 5 speed 260 and the m-5 flywheel and i would have to part out the rest.

so he emailed me this list:

I have this stuff out of a 635csi

    Motor
    Trans
    Radiator
    flywheel
    ecu
    wiring harness
    valve cover
    driveshaft
    manifold

i don't know anything about the 635csi, so, what could i use out of this for my swap?

is this a true m30b3.5 or is it a 3.4?
if it is what gives the 3.5 the big HP jump? is it a longer stroke or a bigger bore? higher comp? hotter cam?

i re-emailed him to find out the year and milage of the parts, and i know a lot depends on the year. i will repost when i get the info.

BTW he only wants $500 for everything

    You can use the...
    Motor
    Trans
    Flywheel
    Ecu
    Harness (even though I wouldn't)
    Valve Cover and Manifold (obviously)

I believe that it is a 3.4...but it is year dependent (i think they started in 85)
The year depends on a lot of the info so get that...either way it's a great upgrade from the 2.5 or 2.7 m20.
For $500 that's a great deal. I got my engine for $500...so this sounds nice.

Oh and if you end up passing I call dibs on the tranny and M5 flywheel!!!

    Good luck!

unfortunately the m-5 flywheel and 260 trans are from the car with the crashed front end.

he does want $500 for that too though, if i go with the later, i'll pass his info on to you

the 635csi stuff is a seperate deal with the parts list.

what is so special about the m-5 flywheel anyways? is it lighter?
is it lighter than a lightened m30 flywheel?
      better clutch pressure plate avail?

m5 flywheel is lighter and it says m5 so it's that much cooler :P
As of now I'm also searching for clutch and flywheel combo's, but no one seems to want to divulge a ton of info on it. I may be wrong but I believe the m5 flywheel is 12lbs and stock is between 17 and 22.

ITB's sounds like a crazy ass adventure...should be interesting to see what you end up with!!

i am going to swap the ITB's over from the m-20 they are presently on, the manifold is 400 euros, and i have to make my own fuel rail. i am pretty sure down the line i am going to supercharge it using an m-90 and an intercooler, blowing through the ITB's. now that should be crazy!

i just recieved an email from the seller. the 635csi stuff is from and 86 with 210k miles.

i am prob going to pass on the whole car thing, (i'll just have the stock flywheel lightened) and go with the 635csi stuff. if you, or anyone wants the contact info pm me and i will pass it on. btw the car is in phx, az
