    SPECS on 88 325e

    I been offer a 1988 325e, but i dont know the specs on it, i do know (or heard it has more low end torque, 121hp) but i want to kno does it have lsd? any diff from 325i or 325is?

    No it has an open diff stock the 325es comes with lsd as long as you stay 1986-1991 they have the larger housing and you are good some of the pre 86 had the smaller diff housing. Hope this helped.

      -Ehh... the '88 s-eta has a 2.93 LSD as an option, so it may have it. The engine has 127 hp, yes more low-end torque taht a 325i/is, but less power.

      -And all six-cylinder e30's have the larger diff case.

        Actually the 84 325e that I had was ether smaller case or output shafts and I am not sure what other models carried that.

        Some of the super ETA’s had a 2:78lsd that is where I got mine. I heard that someone might have swaped it in from the 5 searies.
