    Strange intake boot

Hey all, just another question about my semi finished swap. I was replaced one of the heater core hoses that blew on the back of the motor(ofcourse the rear had to go) when i realized my intake boot looked retarded. What the hell is the white protrusion across from the ICV? Im pretty sure this is not the correct boot for the motor and maybe this could be causing some of my problems. Thanks

Awesome chuck, good catch. As far as I can tell its not sucking any air in, but would it cause a problem if it wasnt attached to anything? Maybe under vac its sucking in air
      Thanks again

no problem. the boot you want is from a late model M30 out of a e32 7ser or a e34 5ser. these cars will have a later version of the EVAP system
