    91' m30 into 84' 318i, engine wiring.

Im using the e34/e32 auto harness and was doing some research on e30.de. I found the wires I think I need....

    e34/e32 harness:

    #1 - BL: alternator
    #4 - BR/VI: coolant sensor (use e30's)
    #5 - BR/GN: oil pressure switch/sensor
    #7 - GN: ignition coil
    #9 - SW: rpm signal/output??? need this?
    #13 - GN/VI: 12v to fuel pump relay
    #18 - SW/GE: starter

Any thoughts??? Im missing one wire.... which one is it? Do I have it right? Also I was looking at my cars harness and its colors and tried tracing them down! I have a 84' 318i l-jetronic 8pin connector.

    my harness chassis side:

    #1 - BL : Alternator
    #4 - BR/VI : Coolant temp sensor
    #6 - GN/GE :
    #7 - R/VI : Fuel pump
    #8 - SW/GE with another small SW/GE : Starter
    #10 - GN : Coil
    #16 - SW/BR : Oil pressure switch
    #17 - WS/BL :

      m30/e30
      1/1
      4/4
      13/7
18/8 tie small wire into the same connection
      7/10
      5/16
9-> Black wire in glove box above DME

I'll double check, but that should be it...

#17, WS/BL goes from the diagnostic connector to the SI lights in the dash.

This is to reset the light.
