Joe I need answers now as to why I haven't heard from you after overnighting a $784 check and being promised they ship next day.

I can get it shipped out tomorrow, paypal?
-J
Yeah paypal works for me, but I need the price again including shipping. Thanks, awaiting reply..just make sure they're full too.
Matt
Matt, theyre good to go.
We were going to do $800 shipped for the 2 large and 2 medium, I don't think we priced them individually.
Let me know...
-Joe
No we didn't price them individually...should be about $325 for smaller and $475 for the largers correct? If this is ok I can go get a money order for you and have it in the mail right after work tomorrow. Let me know if that's good and get me your adress. Or if you wanna wait till you have a set of the smaller duals too I can hold off and get $800 when you do.
Matt
Matt, got another set of small duals (E36) today...
Paypal is best for me right now, since I have a refund that I need to send to someone else.
Let me know
-Joe
Joe, I can do a paypal e-check using my gf's account or send a money order/bank check. Takes like 3-4 days for the e-check to clear so just lemme know.
Matt
are the cats cut and ready to ship?
Matt, I didn't cut them off yet since I hadn't heard anything solid from ya. Overnight me a cashiers check (take $16 off the price to cover the USPS charge).
My address is
Autobahn Sport
2211 SE Ochoco #C
Portland OR 97222
I will have more next week, but will ship these out the day I get the payment. Please get the check out today, since I am opting to try you out over the normal local meth-head...
Thx

I think you're psychic. The check got here while I was at lunch.
Thanks, I will get everything ready for ya, and will verify when they go out. It may be tomorrow morning at this point, but I am shooting for today.
-Joe
This was the last I heard on Wednesday after tracking was promised. I’m out almost $800, have no communication whatsoever and I want to know what’s going on ASAP before I contact the local PD in your town.
Great success ...

The bolt pattern is different, The M20 260 has a block width that is about an inch wider than the M30 block, so if you measure the distance between the two squared mounting points, that is a good determination.
Also, (depending on how intimate you are with these transmissions) the M30 uses the smaller bellhousing bolts, and the M20 transmissiong uses the larger bellhousing boltsLeave a comment:

So what must you look for to distinguish which one you have? Are they subtle differences or major ones? Gear ratios the same?
Nice work with this discovery - having more options is always a good thing.

It requires a special socket that cost $50. I hear you that finding an 87e driveshaft is a pita.Leave a comment:

how hard is it to remove the output shaft on the 260 to change it to the smaller flange?
and do you think having the smaller guibo is going to be any sort of a problem???
cause i'm having a hell of a time finding a big guibo 325e driveshaft...Leave a comment:

There is no doubt that the 265 is a more robust transmission... It is also double the price, very hard to find, and you have to use an E30 M3 driveline. The 260 is very strong as it is... Hans and Franz designed it to hold up behind the M30 anyway, so you won't have any problems.
The weight difference is minimal, and the shifters are different (due to the different length of the trans) (you would need to use a shift linkage from an E30 M3).
At this point we are still working on the webstore storefront, so unfortunately all orders currently need to be over the phone or via forum/paypal...
and you're correct, the M106 is the 2nd generation turbo motor from the 745i :mrgreen:Leave a comment:

I believe that's the turbo block from the 745.
Will a 260 hold less torque than the 265? Is there a weight difference? Do both support the same shifters?
Also, where's the best place to order your mounts, Joe, I saw you'd have a store up soon...Leave a comment:

They ARE different, but I believe the flanges of the two different 260 transmission are also swappable...
This particular 325e had the large flange driveline...Leave a comment:

Where the hell did you find an M106! I'll let you do dirty things to me if I can have it!!Leave a comment:

I have a couple sets of b35 mounts left, though one set is currently on my car... They won't work on my M106 :mrgreen:Leave a comment:

When are you expecting to get some b35 mounts in? PMed you a while back got a reply but no follow up.

When you say factory E30 driveshaft, is it the 325i or 325e driveshaft? They are different at the front, right?Leave a comment:
