The M30 is in!!!!

Well i officially drove the car last night and today! I was starting to think it wasnt going to happen... a month and a half total. But it drives, shifts, and accels smooth. I have a few last things to button up like the exhaust... loud as hell right now with just down pipes :shifty

I'm gonna get some pictures of the complete project, and all my specs soon. I didn't take pictures along the way to much but ill post what i can.

funks mounts
87 e28 535i radiator
87 e28 535i alternator

rad hoses
87 e30 325i aux fan
e34 M5 oil pan and pump
e34 M5 sachs clutch
1985 e30 325e slave cylinder
1987 e28 535i shift linkage
z3 stock shifter

this is all i can think of for now, if anyone has any questions about what i used feel free to ask.

Great to hear, Picture would be invaluable as I will be going down this track shortly! How did your wiring go? Do all your gauges work? Pictures or ban!

lol everything but my tac works but i havent look into it yet... wiring was actually a breeze once i did some research

which harness did you use?

the 635csi harness

My tach never worked until I put the M20 harness on it... On the 635, I believe the tach wire goes through the C101, and on your E30 it is in the glovebox.

thats the problem im having, everything works but the tach! is there any way to hook it up? Cause right now i put a super ETA cluster in and since the tach bonces a little after i turn off the car...
