Lower Rad Hose too short... help

I'm running M30B35 with an E28 auto radiator. Top of rad is in place at stock mounting holes on rad support. Engine is on E30.de mounts with urethane bushings.

I've tried both an E28 and an E34 lower rad hose, both of which are about 1" too short to reach the bottom of rad (E34 slightly closer).

    Suggestions?

use a universal radiator hose. just measure the internal diameter of what you need, and the length, and then go to autozone or whatever and ask for a universal hose. They're ribbed and the have a little spring in them so you can bend them to what you want

Either that or you can use a radiator from an 88 or 89 635... probably too late for this party though.

I had to use two hoses, cut to length, with a coupler, because I have the same setup as you.

I didnt have any issues with radiator hoses until I used a 535 radiator... With the b34 motor, I think you should use the E28 radiator. I have an E28 radiator, and I had to hack the hose to make it work, but we were out of time, and I didn't have an 88+ E24 radiators around...

On our last b35 swapped car we used a 635 radiator, and had no issues at all.

Got it working with the E28 hose. Had to stretch it slightly but not much. Fits well now.

All the plumbing is now done! Time for exhaust...

I'm just comparing what Realoem lists, and we know that that's not always accurate, but they show the late e24 and late e28 to have the same radiator, pn 17111712447 for a manual car.

Car to car variations, perhaps? Or is the 447 a "universal" replacement?

That is weird. I wonder if they gave me a 528e radiator...?
