couple of questions here,

1- What driveshaft did you use ? did you have to shorten and balance one ??

2- About exhaust manifold and downpipe ? could you use the E34 one or did you have to use a custom one ??

3- Is your engine position 2 or 3 ??

4- About ECU, since the E34 use Motronic, did you use the ECU and full harness from the E34 ?

5- Your sig mentions an E.A.T chip, do you fell the difference ? what BHP you reckon you have ? Is that a great improvement ??

E30 crossmember with ireland engineering urethane mounts

1- What driveshaft did you use ? did you have to shorten and balance one ??

325e front 1/2, 325i back 1/2. Had to play with length a little bit but nothing serious. Did not balance it. No vibrations up to 100mph.

2- About exhaust manifold and downpipe ? could you use the E34 one or did you have to use a custom one ??

I used an E34 manifold set and E34 downpipes but had to separate the pipes to get them to fit properly. Put O2 sensor bung into downpipe as well.

There was a problem getting the downpipes to fit around the E30.de style mount bracket. There are several E34 styles of exhaust downpipes, the one I had on hand was one of the only ones that doesn't work well. I think it was identified by having a sleeve over it IIRC (not sure).

3- Is your engine position 2 or 3 ??

Engine is in position III

4- About ECU, since the E34 use Motronic, did you use the ECU and full harness from the E34 ?

Yes, ECU from E34 and full harness. Minor mods required to get tachometer, fuel economy, and power windows to work correctly.

Yes you feel the difference. Can't comment on BHP as I haven't done a before and after comparison. However I've had an EAT chip in my E34 535 5 speed for years and swapped it into this setup. Highly recommended.
