Picture of starter wiring in E30M30 swap?

Need a pick or just tell me what wires to go to starter.

I think: 1 Red wire to (+) and then a body ground to (-)

I have the solenoid wired correctly just need to finish the starter so I can crank the M30 up!

    Thanks in advance! -Dylan

EDIT: I Think I'm an idiot and that the starter has no wires, but the two threads at the back are for mounting it solidly. Wow, cant believe I didnt figure that one out earlier, guess that means I need to figure out where the extra red wire goes! Dammit!

    hehehe, my thread!

Yep, to my knowledge on the old style starters (bulky ones) they had two mounting threads with a bracket that went to the block same as my old m20b23 starter did.

That starter in the picture is actually off a m30b34 (manual) I ended up having to remove the solenoid and put the solenoid that came with my m30b35 (auto) because it was electronically different. (did not have the pin that controls my unloader relays etc..)

on the solenoid you should have a hot lead coming from the battery with a large lug on it and another red one that bolts to the same post, that runs to the alternator.
the SW/GE 2.5mm black with yellow stripe wire, goes to the bottom blade as the starter sits on the engine.

Nice. That's how I have it hooked up now, so hopefully it will crank just fine. Results this afternoon!
