    S14 2.3L questions

    Hi there,

since I'm rebuilding the engine, I found the block has about 93.7-8mm of bore and the stock should be 93.4-5mm right? I'm trying to get some low miles stoc OEM pistons, stock bore and fit int he block these, but due the difference in size, I think I will have to go with brand new pistons.

I really would like to save some bucks by not reaplacing with brand new pistons, so if the stock can work with this bore? What do you think.

In that case are new, would be the forged units since they cme with rings-wirst pin and are cheaper than the OEM pistons. If so, what brand got better feedback , WISECO or CP and where are these usually in stock with th ebest price?

In the other hand I'm quite confused about the bearings for my conrods and crank journal. Looks like there are two groups, RED and BLUE for the crank and only YELLOW groupe for the conrods?. What are the difference beetween both (crank) when I buy the bearings?

The BLUE units seems to have more clearance or bigger?

    Thanks

Stock bore should be 93.355mm just like the M90 block, M88/3, and S38B35. We sell Wiseco pistons and the quality is superb. Be prepared to pay though...
