    Running oil pressure gauge.

Anyone running the gauge full time in the cabin with m30b35, but also have the oil light on the dash working also?

How do you mount the sender on the m30b35? the oil light switch is on the back of the head and would be hard to fit a oil sender for a gauge as well as the switch because of clearance between head and firewall.

I'd really like to be able to keep an eye on my oil pressure.

BMP Design has an adapter that allows the VDO sender as well as the stock sender for the light on the dash. It's like $50 or something close to that.

I am running my oil pressure gauge right off the side if the oil filter housing, ( got location to drill from TCD) I have a extra housing for sale that is already drilled if you want it, say 25 bucks shipped,I believe it is tapped for 3/8 pipe thread,my oil pressure gauge came the crappy plastic line but it leaked and replaced it with the copper tubing line,..... I could also put up pic if you want ,

I know of fittings like that but there is no room behined the head to fit because of close tolerances to the firewall.

I'd like to have a oil pressure gauge so I can keep an eye on oil pressure.

                  Cool thread, thanks!

Should make for a good project next time I change the oil too.
