The head internals look great, thats exactly what my B35 looks like.

I think you are going to need the regular throttle body, that appears to be the fly-by-wire unit and I don't think you can convert that to use the regular linkage.

So here is the engine in question. Looks clean enough to not worry about rebuilding it? I started taking it apart to get things cleaned up.

One step at a time is what makes your projects so high quality. I could use some of that thing, ummm, hmmm, patience! Yeah, that's it, patience. :)

ya think? An m30 turbo is the kind of car you have to have the same respect for as a ban saw. Only difference is that at the end of the day, you'll have brain salad or finger salad.

Trust me I would love to, but one step at a time, it would be insane to have a turbo m30 though...

My TPS is off of an 85 735 manual...

No worries on the custom Driveline Jean, you just need some MAN mounts. :)

Also, that coil will work fine, as will any standard E30 coil.

Yeah, I forgot who it was but there was a reason for changing the auto to manual TPS since I'll be using an e30 harness.

Driveshaft wise I really don't want to go the route of custom / shortened driveshaft unless I have to.

The auto tps has a different plug with more wires than the manual one, so you would need to use a automatic harness to make it work.

    The e30 coil works fine.

I have been told that the e34 525i driveshaft is the opposite of e30 ones in regards to which half is male. I don't know if this applies to the 535i's though.
I used the front of an e28 535i driveshaft and got it shortened 1 3/4" for $90. I think my transmission is a 260/5.

I've never seen one like that in person, but if it came stock on some of the E32s and E34s it should work just fine. It looks like it's essentially the same just with a more compact coil.

Also, for what it's worth, I think the TPSs are the same for all B35s. I am using an auto TPS and it works perfectly.
