Go spal all the way man. My buddy and I both use them and they are the best hands down. They hold up very well to most everything from constantly running to holding up against debris.
You can't go wrong with Spal

an E-36 fan is a pretty easy retro fit, slightly bigger diameter, more and curved blades, and you can mod your stock hardware to make it fit like stock.

if you are building a track car then you shouldn't need a fan at all even if its hot outside. You will be going fast enough to cool the rad. Its not like you are going to be waiting in line at McDonalds....

Aside from showing yourself to be offensive, lacking experience and ignorant in the ways of business, you're also illiterate and imprudent. Beyond that, your sense of liability is severely impaired.

You NEED an electric fan. Period. These cars will heat up VERY quickly if you don't. Yes, I am talking about driving across the parking lot to get into cue. You will not be making any friends if your cooling system is purging while you are in line.

I agree with joe. It never hurts to run one, even if you don't use it a lot, but you never know and it can't hurt anything to have it on there.
I've got a permacool 3000cfm from summitracing on my e30 24valve swap and then I've got the same one on my chevy pickup and neither have had any issues, both were daily driven when I had the fan for several years. E30 still is daily driven, never had issue with the fan itself. Mounting leaves a bit to be desired, but hey, fir 95 bucks for a 3000cfm fan that works good, can't complain too much.
