what are the preferred springs ?

factoring in the added weight of the m30
( and yes, a/c will remain intact ) what aftermarket springs do most of you prefer ? short of going coilovers, im looking for the highest spring rate available as a bolt-on...........

I have no idea what the spring rates are but I've been eye-balling the Spax PSX kit for my car when I get the swap finished. Food for thought.

I can honestly say that I cannot feel a difference in weight in my car at all. AC really dosent weigh enough to make that much of a difference.

i would say with the way my car sits now, b34, no ac, no PS, never had ABS, and no cruise, i would say it feels about the same, if no exactly the same and i can't see having that stuff in making it that much different...

when i'm SC and that weight is back i'll report back ;)

I have yet to drive it cause it's still being build but I'm using stock Z3m bilsteins with AC Schnitzer engraved on the shock (Euro Spec) and don't what springs since they came with them but are stock items since they are blue my guess is that they are bilstein aswell and at the rear it's the same Z3m with the same Bilsteins and Ac Schnitzer logo but they came with no springs but like everyone else said, if I'm not wrong it's a diference of 60 kgs between the M20B25 and M30B35, it's like driving with your girlfriend on the passenger seat, does she unsettles the car handling? Plus if you set back the engine to PIII changes are that the "nose heavy tendency" is almost reduced to zero. Hopes this has helped in some way.

M20 weighs 258lbs, M30 weighs 315lbs.

AC alone weighs about 30-40lbs.
