how many of you M30 members runs an open diff?

just wanted to know if it's crutial (well depending the final gearing and weather conditions) and how does the car behaves with it.
My mainly use will be as a daily commute and eventually 2 or 3 trackdays per year or so.

I have my eyes set on a 3.46 open diff is that a wise choice? considering I have a non-sport gearbox, live in a country where the rain season lasts for 4 months no snow but I do like to push my cars especially in the midrange.

    So is that wise enough?

oh btw Happy New Year to you all

I do... It's only 3.25 but my car only sees rain a couple days a year.

I wouldn't recommend an open 3.46, especially if you live where's there's a lot of rain.

No not yet. I'm looking for a 2.93 lsd (hopefully large case) down the road for that.

          oh I see...

so what would you recommend without losing low revs grunt and mid range punch with an open diff (I culdn't care less about top speed cause I got a Bike for that ;))?
