    Correct Driveshaft?

Hey guys I think I found a driveshaft for my swap but the seller isn't sure whether it's the large guibo variety that I need. He sent me this photo:

But I can't really tell just from looking at. Can any of you guys tell whether this is the large guibo or smaller guibo? It is from an ETA the owner just isn't sure on the year. I know this is a shot in the dark but I figured I might as well post it up just in case there is some obvious way to tell that I wasn't aware of.

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure all ETA's had the large guibo.

Really? I was under the impression that we needed a very specific ('86-'87) Eta driveshaft to work with Funk's mounts.

No, not all etas have the big-guibo driveshaft. My 4/87 build does, so presumably any later eta does, as well.

From the picture, that does not look like the large guibo.

Yes that looks like a small guibo.

The 85 ETA that my motor and tranny came out of had a small guibo.

O man, sorry for the wrong info. My E30 M3 front driveshaft fit without modifying it and is adjustable for a couple inches.

Thanks for the info. I'll have him measure it just to double check but I having a feeling the hunt will continue.

Depends on the transmission you use. I used an e28 transmission and I had to shorten the front e28 half like 1-3/4".
