Just found that browsing mye28.com, link posted by its author, so I just copy it here.

A lot of M30 rebuild pictures, might be very usefull for any M30 swapper who want to rebuild his engine before shoe-horning it into an E30..

Thank you! I think that's the same site/guy I got some larger m30b35 pictures for my reference, but they were from under the hood.

The guy rebuilt his engine, and dropped it in a E28.
He has a beautifull garage.
He posted his link on MyE28.com to everyone to see, so i believe there is no problem to save the pics. That was I did for when the time will come, hopefully soon !

Cool find! Do you happen to have any more info on this engine regarding bore, stroke, and what pistons he used?

I don't remember the name of the poster, but I know he did some work on the block and the head.
I dont think the pistons are the stock ones too...

I was searching for engine rebuild pictures in MyE28.com and saw that link by chance.

Can't find it anymore...
