    FS: m30 headers

    Brand New, Never Used.

I bought a set of headers from Paul Ladue (www.westcoastcustomparts.com) in hope they would fit in an e30 that I was putting an m30 in.

Well turns out they would not fit without modification with the motor mounts I am using so I am going to sell them. I am using the e30.de mounts. The only reason they did not fit is that one runner from the front set would not clear the mount. These might work with a different mount but I cannot guarantee.

There is nothing wrong with these headers, they are brand new with only some scratches in the paint were I tried to fit them in my car.

I would like to get back what I paid for them.

    $425 plus shipping

Were you using a B34 or B35? I have a feeling that these might fit with a B35 since the passenger side mount is much further forward.

Yes, but this is where most of the m30 swap guys look and since it is not an e30 part I put it here

          I'm using a b35 with the e30.de mounts and they wouldn't fit.

Hmmm... And this B35 wasn't out of an E24 or early E32/E34 was it? I just want to be certain that it was one with the passenger side mount way forward on the block.

BTW, I might have someone who is interested in these headers. I'll send a PM when I know for sure.

I don't suppose you have a picture of the interference do you? I've been curious as to just how bad it the fitment is myself.

euroshark: The engine came from a 89 735i

wildstoats: Below is a pic with the runners circled that hit the mount. The runner on the front set hits dead on the mount but the runner on the rear set just barely touches it. And this is with the e30.de mounts, if you were using a different mount the headers might not need any modification.
