I have a cracked E34 M30B35 cylinder head. 

I also have an E28 M30B35 cylinder head. I am thinking to getting the earlier spec one pressure tested and skimmed, to fit a later type M30B35 engine.
From the look of the head, its looks restricted compared to the E34 version. Am I right in thinking this?

It will save me the hassle of getting another cylinder head if I can just use this earlier spec one. Any info on this would be great.
