    Amazing Head Gasket woes

So being in the last leg of my deployment to the Gulf, I was having some work done to my M30 car, new custom driveshaft, fuel sender and speed reference sensor to help smooth it out. But apparently even being gone for about the last 7 months without driving the car, amazingly it seems as though my headgasket has blown. Blacke30(Jeff) was picking the car up from the shop and the car drove great and then started having idling problems, when he got to the destination he noticed that there was no coolant in the overflow tank and that when he filled it up there was a woosh of coolant/steam from the exhaust side between the manifolds, my question is are there any coolant lines on that side of the block(i highly doubt it) and how low does the head go past the manifolds, Im hoping its just a gasket and not a cracked head. Thanks guys, cannot wait to get back and hang out with some of the locals, I miss driving the E30 and hanging out with good people.

Turns out all that happened was that she decided to eject a freeze plug, upon doing a pressure check they found a crack in the block on the driver side, time to find a new m30b34 to build while i try to destroy this one. BOOST HERE I COME

Seeing as Ive been on deployment for the last 7 months and she's been getting worked on in a shop for that time, i highly doubt that any of the water that was in it froze, that and it was ANTI FREEZE...freeze plugs dont normally blow out due to frozen water either...

It was 50 degrees the day I drove it back. Car never warmed up, got back and noticed it was out of coolant. It was only a 10 min drive back from the shop.

The shop said it actually has a cracked block along with the freeze plug.

          Sorry max, sucks that happened.
